About Me

It’s all come down to this: I am 72. Scary enough but the roads I have taken to get to this point are many and very winding. I feel now it is time to sort out the travels, and in some way put them down in some kind of organized fashion. This is why I created this site.

I love photography; could have been utilized much sooner in my life, but the roads traveled just didn’t allow it. I think a lot of my entries here will include photos, all mine unless otherwise noted.

I also love my kids and grand-kids and I know there will be entries about them as well. They are growing up very fast and it’s very difficult keeping up with what they are doing, but try I must. They are why I have the nickname of “Freaky-O”. It came about back when the big thing was the Wii Console and a player had to have his or her own player name; they sort of named me “Freaky-O”, which stuck and its become a lot of my user name handles here and there.

Another love is my lust for a great cigar. It’s a lonely habit as there are not many to share this enjoyment with, but for sure I will talk about the passion and love for a great premium cigar.

If you had to classify my political views, it would have to be a solid conservative with a leaning towards the patriot movement our country demands at this time. I am a gun owner and carry a permit to carry in most states. I never leave home without it.  The status-quo in our country worries me to no end; as does the entire world with all the terrorist’s groups that want me as a Christian dead.

I am divorced and my ex-wife of 29 years died a few years ago. The divorce was mutual and no contest. I was not a good husband; but I never was unfaithful to her, I just fell out of love and we became split apart that was more difficult than not to deal with. It just wasn’t meant to be, and I will never say it is what I really wanted to happen; I just couldn’t prevent it from taking the road it did.

I am a veteran of the USAF and am very proud of our armed services and will support them to my last breath.
